Spray cleaning

During spray cleaning, the component is sprayed from all sides with the cleaning fluid. The impurities are partly dissolved or emulsified by the chemical effect of the cleaning fluid and partially washed away by the high kinetic energy of the spray jet. The intensity is adjusted via the volume flow and pressure. Cavities and bores are specifically cleaned by moving lances. The dirty water is collected, filtered in several stages and reused for cleaning in the circulation system.

High-pressure cleaning

In contrast to “normal” spray cleaning, the following applies to high-pressure cleaning:

Ultrasound cleaning

As a supplement to immersion bath cleaning, the cleaning bath is supplemented with ultrasound.

An ultrasonic generator generates electrical signals at a specific frequency, and these are transmitted into the liquid as sound waves via rod or surface transducers. The sound pressure is characterised by an interplay of negative and positive pressure. Due to the high intensity, microscopically small cavities form in the negative pressure phases. They collapse (implode) in the subsequent overpressure phase, generating shock waves with considerable energy densities. This creates micro-currents in the liquid that “blast off” impurities on the components to be cleaned and washed off the workpieces.

Ultrasonic cleaning can also be used to loosen stubborn contamination. With appropriate dimensioning, the cleaning performance corresponds to that of high-pressure methods. The sound waves loosen even the smallest particles in corners.

Roboclean

cleaning with roboter automation – Roboclean

This ultrasonic cleaning system is specially designed for simple robot loading and unloading of dirty parts. Workpieces are automatically moved into the pool after loading and there by a lifting device in the Z axis during cleaningemotional. The components are then lifted out of the pool, dried with an air knife and can then be removed by the robot.
As standard, the cleaning system has an automatically closing loading door, circulation and emptying pump, and an oil separator. The pool is made of 3mm thick stainless steel and is insulated. An optional automatic water metering, steam vapor extraction and a floor pan can be integrated.
